Standing 11.2 hands, Clay Creek Woodstock is proving to be an ideal stallion for crossing to larger mares.

Woodstock offers very correct conformation without the "Thelwell" look that many small ponies possess. He is refined, balanced and harmonious throughout with traditional hunter movement. In true welsh fashion, his head is small, attractive and typey with a large, kind eye.

Woodstock's pedigree is a virtual "who's who" of hunter ponies. He is by the incredibly successful imported stallion Carolinas Red Fox (now deceased). Carolinas Red Fox consistently produced top performers in the hunter ring, on the line and in breeding programs across the continent. The Downland prefix in this pedigree has long been synonymous with quality performance ponies.

Woodstock's dam side is the best of Liseter breeding and includes many ponies that are both champions themselves and producing champion offspring.

Woodstock himself has had a limited showing career. Instead, we have been more focused on bringing out his offspring. However, each time Woodstock has been out, he has returned home with only first or second place ribbons. He has also been awarded Reserve Champion section B stallion at the 2006 Canadian National All Welsh Championships and Grand Champion Pony Stallion at the 2008 Summerfest Breeder's Show in Ottawa.

Clay Creek Woodstock has consistently thrown foals with trainable temperaments, elegant type and quality movement. Many of them have lots of “chrome” as an added bonus. We have received very positive feedback from top breeders and judges regarding the consistent quality, type and temperaments of the Woodstock offspring out of a wide variety of mares including Welsh, Paint, Warmblood, Thoroughbred, Arabian, Quarter Horses and Grades. His oldest offspring are now being started under saddle and they all have a great work ethic and thrive on the attention
